ABOUT OUR TOURNAMENT

The Riga City Cup tournament started in 2016 and is taking place in Riga – the capital of Latvia. In the beginning the competition was held only in two age groups U-13 and U-14 for boys. In 2018 the first tournament was held for women’s teams, and in February 2020 another age group U-15 for boys was added. Until 2020 the tournament was annually held in February and the beginning of March. From 2023 tournament was held outdoor from March to May. The new system will remain unchanged. Since the start of the tournament the participants of the competition have been different teams from the European countries e.g. England, Germany, Russia, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Georgia, Ukraine. At different times the participants of the tournament were such teams as Hannover 96, Dinamo Tbilisi, Malmo FF, West Bromwich Albion, Arsenal Kyiv, Lechia Gdansk, Lyngby BK.

The tournament organizers offer lodging participants at 3* and 4* hotels. Prior to the tournament there is a possibility to hold mini camps or trainings.
